Project 365 ~ Day 24 (January 24, 2009)

Today is a chilly and dreary and rainy day. It was a beautiful warm day yesterday. I am beginning to think that the saying we have in Ohio ("If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes and it will change") pertains to Texas pretty much, except that it would be more like "if you don't like the weather, wait 12 hours and it will change"! Ha! If you like change of seasons, Ohio was wonderful for that. Here, in Texas, you have two seasons: summer and hotter summer. Actually, we do get cold sometimes in the winter (even down in the 20's at night on a rare occasion), have frost on our car windows several mornings, and we have even seen the occasional snowflake! They say that Houston is the most air-conditioned city in the nation, and one of those few places where you can run the heater and the air conditioner in the same day. It's true!
